Vehicle Details

1. Vehicle Condition & Handover

The vehicle is delivered in good condition. The renter must inspect it before taking delivery and report any existing damage. Any unreported issue will be considered as caused during the rental period.

2. Responsibility During Rental

The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle from handover until return. Any damage, loss, or seizure by authorities will be borne by the renter. In case of total loss, compensation up to the IDV (Insured Declared Value) will be payable to Kaar Rental.

3. Usage Guidelines

The vehicle shall not be used for illegal activities, racing, towing, or sub-renting. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Smoking inside the vehicle is not allowed.

4. Traffic Rules & Penalties

The renter is liable for all traffic fines, challans, or penalties incurred during the rental period and must clear them before returning the vehicle.

5. Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of delivery. Any shortage will be charged as per current market rates.

6. Breakdown or Accident

In case of breakdown or accident, the renter must inform Kaar Rental immediately and avoid unauthorized repairs. Insurance coverage applies only to major damages as per the policy terms. Minor damages, including scratches, dents, tyre bursts, glass cracks, or interior damage, will be charged to the renter at showroom-estimated prices. Towing or recovery costs due to renter’s negligence will also be borne by the renter.

7. Late Return

Delay in returning the vehicle will attract hourly or daily late fees. Non-return within 24 hours of the scheduled time without notice may lead to legal action.

8. Refunds & Security Deposit

Security deposit will be refunded after vehicle inspection and clearance of dues, challans, or damages. Refunds are processed within 24–48 hours of return.

9. Mileage Limit

The rental includes a maximum of 300 km per day. Exceeding this limit will cause charges per km according to the vehicle model.

10. Jurisdiction

All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
